Secure Data Protection and Sharing Management
All user identities and credentials in Nplifier are stored in a Private Data Vault (PDV) powered by our award-winning data protection technology. PDV provides secured multi-cloud object storage & secured gateway services. It also employs sophisticated encryption key management to support secured multitenant file sharing while maintaining end-to-end security.

Nplifier’s data protection flow ensures that all linked user data are resilient and secure. Data Resilience prevents data loss from service damage and single or even multiple points of failure. Data Security ensures that data is encrypted in transit and at rest. In Figure above, linked identities and credentials are first shredded into incomplete and redundant pieces. Therefore, no single data host possesses complete information, and unless multiple data hosts are damaged at the same time, Nplifier can still reconstitute complete data. Shredded pieces of data are encrypted by different keys and stored in Sub-Vaults in different clouds.
One of the important problems Nplifier solves is modern identity management. Nowadays, password-based identity is the most widely used identity type in Web2. Nplifier Identity & Credentials Manager (NICM) is a Web browser extension for end-users to manage their password-based identities across favorite services. In this scenario, the PDV will collaborate with NICM to protect password-based identities. The main reason that Nplifier plans to provide NICM is because most Web services does not have APIs for third-party integrations. To end-users, NICM is a free identity & credentials management tool to simplify complex identities and passwords management issues. To Nplifier, NICM is a gateway between services without APIs and Nplifier.
